Reuters poll shows Cain numbers taking a hit (Politico)

Herman Cain has defied political gravity for months, but the latest accusations by a former NRA educational foundation staffer are having an impact, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

The survey was an online poll. which asked respondents to view the video of Sharon Bialek at her Manhattan press conference describing in graphic detail her allegations of inappropriate behavior by Cain in 1997.

In the survey of 462 registered GOPers online, taken yesterday and today, 40 percent had a less favorable view of Cain after seeing the video. Some 39 percent said they believed Bialek's claims, which Cain has insisted are false.
