Second release from 2007 named Aberrations left somehow the VDGG atmosphere of the first album only on copuple of pieces is still present and the band optained for a more neo prog meets symphonic prog passages. Overall the album is ok , maybe chaotic in places, with the exception Meeting KIm by far the best pieces of the album with some very nice guitar and vocal parts and instrumental sections from Did You Say Salmon? the rest of the album is decent but far from being great. I don't like very much the voice of the new vocalist Didier Berthuit, in parts is dull without having that pleasent Hammill moments of the previous one. Eh, let's say 3 stars but with indulgence, is worse then other albums where I've gave 3 stars, not a great album but has some good moments overall. I like thier first one better. b_olariu | 3/5 |
